For the second year in a row, Victor Duplaix presents Remember the Time, a night celebrating the musical legacy of Michael Jackson. With special guest Questlove (The Roots) on the decks, we're guessing the night will offer a diversely mixed selection, featuring the King of Pop's early stuff with his bros plus the later hits and gems. Special art, visual and light installations are promised. Bay Salone, 915 S. Santa Fe Ave., dwntwn.; Fri., Aug. 27; 10 p.m.-4 a.m.; over 21; $20, fusicology.com. More groove goodness from the Incognito crew the next night, featuring Orbital's Phil Hartnoll doing a rare L.A. DJ set. Busy on the festival circuit as a duo after reforming last year, U.K.-bred brothers Paul and Phil also do individual projects like this club gig. Still, it's pretty much guaranteed that Phil will spin plenty of the big, classic electronic anthems that the pair created (and remixed) together during his turn at the wheel. A must for Orbital fans. Marbella Bank, 6757 Hollywood Blvd., Hlywd.; Sat., Aug. 28; 10 p.m.-4 a.m.; over 21; $15 tickets at incognito.com.
