Elina ShatkinWuppertal native Kai Loebach's long delayed Currywurst on Fairfax Avenue (not to be confused with Berlin Currywurst in Silver Lake), will finally open this Sunday. Look for grilled sausages with fries and a selection of mayo and curried ketchups. Currywurst will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. (Menu after the jump.)
Between the two crosstown currywurst rivals (full disclosure: we don't actually know if they're going to be rivals, but we like to drum up controversy wherever possible), westside tavern Steingarten and recently opened Wirtshaus, it's a veritable German invasion in Los Angeles.
