“Whoa, Brazilian pizza? All you can eat? Ten bucks? I'm there.” Those are the words of my 22-year-old brother, a Culver City resident and a senior at USC. There's no doubt he and his four roommates, will be dropping by Bella Vista, the all-you-can-eat Brazilian pizza joint that recently opened in the Brazilian Mall on Venice Boulevard, on a regular basis.

Bella Vista is modeled after the popular rodizio, or all-you-can-eat pizza, popular in Brazil. The menu is a mix of American favorites and traditional Brazilian flavors, including carne seca, a pizza with dry beef, mozzarella, leeks and black olives; and a slew of dessert pizzas (think granola, guava paste, acai cream). The place is small and cheerful — a single room adjacent to the Supermercado Brazil, across the street from Cafe Brazil and next door to the Brazilian shoe store. When it's busy, waiters circulate the small room with trays of smoked sausage, hearts of palm, spinach, and chicken pizza, offering up as many slices as your hungry heart can stomach.
