The Lucent Dossier Experience is known for its brand of hedonistic creativity a la Burning Man, with past shows featuring aerialists, sword swallowers and fire dancers. But in the troupe's new “Private Party” series, Lucent Dossier Private Party V & VI, the performers aren't onstage or removed from a passive audience — they're right there mingling with the guests. Sexy dancers decked out in steampunk finery blend with fairyland-inspired decor, creating an atmosphere where just about anything might happen. Both Friday and Saturday are expected to sell out. On Friday, DJ Jeremy Sole from KCRW and DJ GoldRush will perform, along with Lucent's own DJ Atla, while on Saturday, DJ Henry Pope and Metaphase will be spinning. Both nights will feature impromptu performances into the wee hours while bartenders from Scarlette Bartending serve up specially infused liqueurs such as rose vodka and vanilla bourbon. Costumes and a flirty sense of humor are strongly encouraged. The Ravenous Rouge at the Lucent Lighthouse, 437 S. Hill St., dwtwn, Fri., May 17, and Sat., May 18, 9 p.m.-4 a.m.; $45-$50, lucentdossier.com.
