Last year's 405 shutdown inspired some folks to engage in planking and dining on the open lanes of one of the world's busiest freeways.

But this year a handful of action sports heroes took it a step further — despite clear warnings not to. Former pro skater Cindy Whitehead and photographer husband Ian Logan decided to capture her enjoying a cruise on the Carmageddon II-closed freeway.

Lucky for Whitehead, she wasn't arrested or cited:

CBS Los Angeles got the story from the Hermosa Beach couple. Whitehead was videotaped rocking her old-school-style Tailtap deck on lanes normally clogged with traffic. She told the station:

We just thought it would be a really iconic photograph to make.

Later last night CBS2 also found a handful of younger skaters who had photos of themselves enjoying the unpopulated concrete jungle on Sunday.

The CHP stated “a lost couple from Europe” and “a bride and groom out for a stroll” were caught entering the 405 illegally; CBS2 says seven people total, including an inline skater, were cited Sunday.

Photos of Whitehead's journey, under the title “F*** Camargeddon,” were posted here.

Enjoy, because you'll probably never see anything like it again.
