Checked in with Dean Loring, president and CEO of Burger Lounge, who tells us the first Los Angeles location of the San Diego-based chain should open some time in October.

Situated on the Sunset Strip (not far from recently opened Rosa Mexicano), it will feature the same small menu of premium burgers made with hormone- and antibiotic-free, grass-fed cattle raised on Kansas prairie land.

Burger Lounge:

Fans of the chain also like their version of chicken tenders, which come on a stick, and the fries. Burger Lounge currently has five locations in San Diego and one in La Jolla.
