What could possibly be so special about some shopping mall in the City of Industry? Maybe the fact that the parking lot at Puente Hills Mall is where Michael J. Fox drove a DeLorean back in time. Yes indeed, Back to the Future's iconic time-travel scenes were shot in the very lot you park in today when you eat at Jollibee. It's not glamorous, but it's a free and easy way to see a Hollywood landmark that's not in Hollywood — and, while you're at it, swing by nearby Whittier High School, filming location of the “Enchantment Under the Sea” dance. The Bullock's, JC Penney and Fotomat kiosk may be gone — it was never there, actually — but the magic of the movies will always remain. 1600 S. Azusa Ave., City of Industry, 91748.
