For the determined record collector, it doesn't get much better than Pasadena City College's flea market. On the first Sunday of every month, music geeks unite at the spot to dig through new and old LPs. For the most devoted vinyl enthusiasts, this is your place, the safe haven where you don't have to be ashamed, where you can, in fact, wear your obsessiveness as a badge of honor. Boasting nearly two floors of record vendors, the flea market offers everything from Led Zeppelin bootlegs on vinyl (you know, like the one you lent to your brother decades ago) to those old big-band records you inherited from your grandparents but then promptly lost. Whether it's rare, limited-edition, out-of-print or even bootlegged records, this spot has it all. Sure, you might not want to tell anyone you're coming, but once you've arrived you can relax knowing you're among fellow nerds. 1570 E. Colorado Blvd, Parking Structure 5, Pasadena; (626) 585-7906, pasadena.edu/fleamarket.
