Think you know your Babs? Steve Barri leads this five-session course on how a poor, meeskite from Brooklyn became one of the best-selling music artists of all time – and one of only 17 artists in history to win an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony award. You’ll learn about the misty watercolor moments of the funny girl’s life and music, from her humble childhood to her recording career beginning in the ‘50s to her work as a director. Barri is a composer/lyricist and vice president of Dunhill Records, who’s signed such acts as Steely Dan, Jimmy Buffet and Three Dog Night.
