Twitter and cupcake food blogs are abuzz with news of BabyCakes NYC heading west to open a new location in downtown Los Angeles, on 6th Street. Following up from Squid Ink's BabyCakes NYC update in April, the day is nearly here, as the bakery is set to open its doors by the end of this month, and at the latest by early January. In a city flooded with sugary, monster cupcakes, the small New York-based bakery will stand out–serving gluten-, soy-, egg-, and dairy-free cupcakes, without all the harsh chemical sweeteners.
