Bael is a self-taught English artist whose influences include Art Nouveau, Anime, Egon Schiele and Nagel as he pursues an expressionist, post-illustration vision of empowered mystery, emotionally haunting, hyper-stylized portraits that are both graphically grabby and rich with nuance.
