Located within Amazon’s Culver City campus, Studio126 isn’t just another studio; it’s a creative haven designed to nurture artists, foster collaboration, and push the boundaries of innovation in music and entertainment.

The grand opening of Studio126 was celebrated in style with the Amazon Music ‘24 Lot Party, a star-studded affair attended by luminaries from the music and entertainment industry. From Andra Day to Jermaine Dupri, the event showcased the eclectic talent pool that Amazon Music has brought together under one roof. Guests were treated to a DJ set by Grammy-winning producer Kaytranada, setting the stage for an amazing evening of music and revelry.

Equipped with state-of-the-art recording and mixing studios, podcast rooms, screening lounges, and a merch atelier, Studio126 offers a comprehensive suite of amenities tailored to the needs of today’s artists. “When artists create in this space, we want them to feel like it’s their space for that period of time,” says Byron Merrit, Amazon Music’s VP of Design and Creative. Merrit also touched upon the creative potential of the space and how artists have and will continue, to help shape it themselves. “I’m really excited about how the artists help us evolve it,” he continued. “We want to give them the feeling that they can use this space to create in ways that, frankly, we might not have even thought about yet.”

Looking ahead, Studio126 is poised to become a premier destination for artists and creators from around the world. With each new project and partnership, such as groundbreaking live streams and exclusive merch collaborations, Studio126 reaffirms Amazon Music’s dedication to empowering artists and shaping the future of music and entertainment.
