By the age of nine, she was already performing in church, and by twelve, she had entered formal training at respected institutions including the Conservatório Brasileiro de Música and the Escola de Música Villa-Lobos.

While attending high school in Irvine, California, she quickly distinguished herself in competitive and performance settings, earning recognition as the winner of a City of Irvine music competition in 2020. This achievement led to her selection as a featured performer in the city’s annual summer concert series, providing early exposure to large live audiences in the U.S. market.

Building on this momentum, Ana Carvalho continued her formal training at Concordia University Irvine, where she earned a degree in Commercial Music with an emphasis in Songwriting. During her academic career, she was repeatedly selected for the university’s Honors Recitals across multiple semesters—an indication of consistent distinction among her peers.

In 2025, she achieved a significant milestone by winning the Concordia Music Competition, which led to her selection for a Top Honors Recital at Carnegie Hall—one of the world’s most internationally recognized concert venues. This performance represents a notable professional achievement, placing her among a select group of emerging artists recognized at a globally respected level.

Ana Carvalho’s work has also extended into nationally broadcast productions. She held leading and featured performance roles in PBS SoCal’s Concordia Christmas specials from 2022 through 2024—programming that has received multiple Telly Awards and reaches a nationwide audience. In the 2024 edition, she was selected to perform her own original arrangement, further demonstrating her capabilities as both a vocalist and musical arranger within a nationally recognized platform.
