Dutch electronic music trailblazer Don Diablo had LA Historic Park pulsing on Saturday. June 28, delivering an electrifying set to a massive crowd. The event transformed the 32-acre Chinatown-adjacent park into a dance haven, with Diablo’s signature house sound igniting the summer night.
Diablo, ranked #15 on DJ Mag’s Top 100, is known for pushing genre boundaries and collaborating with global icons from Gucci Mane to Madonna.
“Still buzzing from an unforgettable night at the Los Angeles State Historic Park with my brother Martin Garrix! The city, the vibes, the crowd … absolutely electric!” Don Diablo told LA Weekly after the event.
The set featured a mix of Diablo’s hits and fresh tracks, including “Doing Nothin’” a carefree summer anthem with Nelly Furtado that dropped May 30. Its classic four-on-the-floor beat, playful piano melody, and Furtado’s sassy vocals highlight the song’s ‘90s house vibe.

“To be honest the energy from the crowd was even better than I expected!” Don Diablo elaborated. “I also premiered my next single ‘The Devil Works Hard’ with Tseba which drops July 11 on Sweat It Out. It’s a deeper, funkier cut, part of my new 2.0 sound I’ve been shaping lately. Can’t wait for the rest of the world to hear it!”
Out today, “The Devil Works Hard” marks Don Diablo’s first track on the label Sweat It Out. It’s a bass-heavy collab with Aussie producer Tseba, finding the two making the bold promise that although the devil works hard “The DJ works harder” — and the track delivers.
Fans also grooved to staples like “Momentum” and “Cutting Shapes,” amplified by Diablo’s futuristic visuals. The event ran from evening to night, benefitting from LA Historic Park’s open-air setting. An unforgettable showcase for Don Diablo fans on a perfect summer’s day.
