On Wednesday, Feb. 26 Golden Road Brewing will relaunch the Heal the Bay IPA to celebrate the nonprofit’s 40th Anniversary. 100% of proceeds for the special event will benefit Heal the Bay’s environmental work, including critical post-fire coastal water quality testing and advocacy efforts.  Mother Wolf and Chef Evan Funk are part of the Chef’s Table Dinner Series for LA Fire Relief, an exclusive collection of fundraising dinners featuring chefs from Netflix’s Chef’s Table. The event series is designed to support first responders and victims of the recent Los Angeles wildfires, with 100% of proceeds going toward relief efforts.

On Saturday,  March 8,  Funke will host a multi-course, nostalgia-inspired American-Italian dinner at Bar Avoja, the new private lounge at Mother Wolf Los Angeles (formerly Mars). The dining experience includes a welcome cocktail hour and a family-style American-Italian meal featuring focaccia garlic knots, big beef ravioli, and chicken parmigiana. Optional beverage pairings will be available for purchase, and a meet-and-greet with the chef is included.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased via Resy. Proceeds from the event will benefit WorldCentralKitchen, RestaurantsCare, and the Palisades & Altadena Community Fund, organizations that are actively providing aid to those impacted by the LA wildfires.

Little Dom’s hosts its annual, multi-day Mardi Gras Feast from Sunday, March 2    through Fat Tuesday, March 4.    Cajun and Creole dishes from Co-Owner and  Chef Brandon Boudet feature Shrimp, Chicken & Andouille Gumbo , Jambalaya Rice Balls with Creole Mustard, and   Oyster Po Boys.      Mardi Gras desserts from Pastry Chef Ann Kirk include   Raspberry Beignets   and a slice of King Cake.

Black History Month at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica takes place on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4  p.m. Hosted as part of the Crafted by Culture series in partnership with Shopfest, the event will spotlight Black makers, artists, and entrepreneurs, honoring their creative contributions with a lineup of activities for all ages. The event will feature more than 20 local vendors showcasing unique products from African American-owned businesses,

Taking place on the 1300 block of the promenade, the free community celebration will be packed with live performances, including music, spoken word, and dance, from local talent like DJ Asha, Arielle Estoria, Maestro the Vocalinist, and more. For the younger crowd, the Kids Zone will provide fun and interactive activities, including a special children’s book reading by Alexis Mozell and CJ Charles, designed to inspire young minds.
