The video was so successful that FMG Productions submitted it for Grammy consideration. The success of this video is undoubtedly attributable to Yue’s creative direction.

When asked to describe a work day on the Me Gusta Latina schedule, Yue shared that, as an art director, she’d closely work with the direction and production teams. She consistently cooperated to grasp the concept and idea of the music video, ensuring that her creative vision for the song was aligned with the planned direction. Her primary responsibility was to create the necessary background and ensure that it effectively conveyed the intended message. Yue was tasked with transforming a vacant space into a fascinating Western-style bar. She started from scratch and took into account the tiniest details to transform into a bar that’d look nothing short of a real bar. She thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Snoop Dogg and valued the inclusive and diverse working environment.
‘We picked up props from rental houses around Los Angeles as well as some antique stores near the location in the desert. When we arrived on set, I was surprised at the number of extras and crew members that were brought on for this project, all of whom were extremely dedicated to their position, no matter how big or small. Everyone was extremely professional and passionately doing their job to ensure the best project possible. Yue finds her role as art director incredibly challenging but exciting at the same time. She likes to work under pressure, overcoming budget constraints, time shortages, and complex conditions. She believes that in times that are not ideal, professionalism and talent have the best opportunity to shine.
