Dennis RomeroA third victim has died of her injuries as a result of Saturday's Asiana jetliner crash at San Francisco International Airport.
San Francisco General Hospital says in a statement sent to the Weekly and other outlets that the victim was a “girl” who “had been in critical condition.” The hospital will not release more details because, it says, …
… Her parents have asked that we reveal no further information at this time. We will respect their wishes while they grieve.
It's not clear if the girl was part of a group headed to Los Angeles for summer camp. The two other fatalities were 16-year-old girls, best friends, traveling to San Francisco from Shanghai with L.A.'s West Valley Christian School as their intended destination this week.
Those two, from Jiangshan, were best friends.

One of the two, Ye Mengyuan, was run over by a responding fire vehicle, San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr confirmed in a press conference today. It's not clear if she was already dead. The girls might have been ejected when the Boeing 777's tail came off after it clipped a seawall.
Others who had been ejected, however, survived.
The top cop in San Francisco told the San Jose Mercury News that the girl was covered in foam, or fire retardant, sprayed by crews responding to a plane that was quickly erupting in flames. That suggests responders might not have seen her.
A San Francisco Fire Department official told us they have no comment:
We have not released a statement out of respect for the victims, until we get the concluded coroner's report.
The hospital, meanwhile, says it still has two critical adults from the crash in its care.
