Plenty of people asked how we planned to follow up our 30 Burgers in 30 Days “triumph” (read: reason we no longer fit into our favorite jeans). We considered several options: tacos, tamales, calves' brains. All of those would have been lovely, but for summer, we wanted something cool and delicious, something that wold feel appropriate with our summer uniform of a stretchy and forgiving cotton maxi-dress. That would be ice cream. So tomorrow, June 1st, our newest Odyssey in Food begins: 30 Scoops in 30 Days.
Ground Rules: It can be ice cream, gelato or sorbet. It can be something in between. It cannot be frozen yogurt, which is almost never worth the words.
