Where the Chefs Eat is an ongoing series in which we ask a local chef to give us his or her favorite dining options. This week, we check in with Jaime Martin Del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu.

Jaime Martin Del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu certainly have their hands full these days. Of course, they continue to run one of L.A.'s most beloved Mexican restaurants, La Casita Mexicana in Bell. They're also in the process of opening a second restaurant, Mexicano, in Baldwin Hills. But a lot of their energy is taken up with media commitments – an ongoing column in La Opinion, L.A.'s daily Spanish-language newspaper; regular appearances on Univision; and now a gig as judges on Top Chef Estrella, a Spanish-language spinoff of Top Chef, which features nonculinary stars cooking against one another (read all about it here).

With so little time on their hands, we wondered where in Los Angeles the chefs do like to eat when they have time to pause. Here are their top three picks.
