Two Dead, One Injured after Collision near Swenson Street in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, CA (January 14, 2022) – A fatal off-road crash on Bentley Street left two killed and another injured, Friday afternoon.

The crash happened in the 11300 block of Bentley Street, near Swenson Street, around 2:40 p.m.

According to authorities, a vehicle containing three occupants was traveling on a dirt ridge-line road. For reasons unknown, the vehicle struck a large rock, ejecting one of the passengers.

Due to the impact of the collision, two passengers died at the scene while a third person sustained moderate injuries.

Additionally, authorities delayed the recovery of bodies until Saturday morning due to wet terrain in the remote area.

At this time, the identity of the deceased victims remains unclear. However, Riverside officials are still currently investigating the deadly off-road crash.
