1975 OK All Across the USA: Cheshire, UK, alt-rockers The 1975 released the Being Funny in a Foreign Language album this year, a month ago in fact, and have seen it receive wide critical acclaim. They even found time to badmouth Metallica, but hey, when people are listening you might as well say something silly. Check them out at the Forum, with BLACKSTARKIDS.
Back in October, the band was working with Vevo on a live performance of the track “Oh Caroline,” of which they said “We loved working with Vevo on these videos.”
According to the press release, “The 1975 closely collaborated with Vevo’s team to create a completely bespoke set that had the ability to be constantly evolving. ‘Oh Caroline’ begins with a close up of a box of matches in front of a guitar. Thecamera pans to frontman Matty Healy, smoothly lighting a cigarette with one of the matches as he stands in front of a teal-tinted curtain. His red guitar stands in stark contrast to his dim surroundings, the room suddenly flashing with strobes before Matty fades into a silhouette.”
