There are plenty of ways to celebrate the end of the year, and going out to dinner is certainly one of the best. 9. Bow & Truss:

7. Akasha will have their casually elegant farm-to-table dinner menu available along with several luck themed dishes for you to choose from. Whole roasted fish, Singapore Good Luck salad and more. 6. Church & State :
Ring in the New Year like a Frenchman/woman with confetti and Champagne at one of the two seatings at Church & State. Early revelers will be treated to a $70 four-course meal and at the later seating, that goes up to $95 and six courses, including lobster and chestnut soup and duck a l'orange. 1850 Industrial Street, Los Angeles; (213) 405-1434.
5. L&E Oyster Bar:
The restaurant usually does not take reservations, but they are required on NYE to ensure a seat. They will have their super-fresh, seafood-centric menu, with the addition of special oysters — TBD — and several sparkling wines. 637 Silver Lake Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 660-2255.
What could be sexier than filling up on caviar and Champagne before kissing at midnight? Petrossian's 5-course, $125 menu will showcase their signature items with dishes like oysters and caviar with leek capellini. 321 N Robertson Blvd., West Hollywood; (310) 271-6300.
3. Little Door:
Little Door is throwing a wild Gatsby-themed party as only they can, replete with Charleston dancing, ragtime music and door prizes (door prizes!), for the $95 first and $165 second seatings. The food will be French. The party will be glamorous.8142 W. Third St., Los Angeles; (323) 951-1010.
This newish gastropub is offering a $90 meal of blackened Dungeness crab and other seafood along with their side dishes served à la russe. Bottomless beer and sparkling wine are included. Eva has two seatings as well, and after chef Mark Gold's recent stint at Noma we can't wait to see what comes out of the kitchen. The earlier $69, four-course menu includes Japanese kampachi, charred cucumber and “whipped” tofu; John Dory, peas and almond brown butter; or Wagyu beef, charred onion and sauce Bordelaise.
