One Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near North Broadway Avenue

TYLER, TX (January 24, 2024) – One victim was died and another was injured shortly after midnight Friday morning, in a car crash on East Northeast Loop 323.
Officers arrived at the location just after midnight on January 12th, near North Broadway Avenue. The events leading up to the incident are currently unclear. However, reports suggest that one individual was pronounced dead by medical personnel. Simultaneously, paramedics conveyed another individual to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed. Troopers closed the surrounding roadway for several hours to facilitate cleanup and preliminary tasks.
