26-Year-Old Rider Fatally Injured in Solo-Motorcycle Crash near Executive Center Boulevard

EL PASO, TX (May 13, 2024)Julian Santana was killed in Tuesday night in a motorcycle crash at the 4100 block of North Mesa Street.

Officers responded to the scene near Executive Center Boulevard on April 30th.

According to reports, Santana, aged 26, was traveling northbound at a high speed when he lost control while navigating a curve. This led to Santana colliding with a bench nearby and being thrown onto the road.
 
Upon arrival, medical responders transported Santana to a nearby hospital where he passed away due to his injuries.
 
Emergency crews temporarily closed off the surrounding road to facilitate clearing operations.
 
Initial assessments by authorities suggest that speed played a role in the accident. A comprehensive investigation is ongoing, and further details will be shared as they become available.
