Multiple Injured in 3-Car Accident on Cross Park Drive

AUSTIN, TX (May 9, 2024) – At least six people were hospitalized early Saturday morning, after a three-car crash at the 8500 block of Cameron Road.

The incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m., near Cross Park Drive on April 13th.

A collision involving three vehicles occurred in the area under investigation. Upon arrival, Austin-Travis County EMS discovered six individuals with injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening.
 
Emergency responders transported two patients with life-threatening injuries to Dell Seton, and two with potentially serious injuries to the same hospital. Additionally, two other individuals involved in the incident were taken to Round Rock Hospital with serious injuries.
 
Both southbound and northbound lanes of Cameron Road were closed during the incident. No further information regarding the cause of the crash was provided. Additional details about the three-vehicle collision on Cameron Road will be provided once available.
