Unidentified Driver Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Fiery Collision on 83rd Avenue

GLENDALE, AZ (May 10, 2024) – One driver was killed Saturday afternoon, in a fiery car crash on Glendale and 83rd Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m., on April 13th. According to investigators, the driver of a pickup-truck was turning from a private parking lot onto Glendale Avenue. There, an eastbound vehicle struck the pickup-truck, causing the truck to catch fire. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced the driver deceased. Although, police have not yet released their name or place of residency. Emergency crews shut down a portion of the roadway temporarily to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. No further details regarding the fiery car accident on Glendale Avenue have been disclosed to the public. Police will provide more information once available.
