30-Year-Old Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Accident near 124th Avenue Southeast

KENT, WA (January 15, 2024) – One woman suffered fatal injuries Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Southeast 256th Street.

The incident took place shortly before 2:00 a.m. on December 30th, near 124th Avenue Southeast. Two vehicles, identified as a Toyota Rav4 and a Dodge Challenger, collided at the intersection, with suspicions of DUI involvement. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered a 30-year-old woman ejected onto the road.

Due to the severity of her injuries, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The 25-year-old driver of the Dodge and the 31-year-old driver of the Toyota sustained various injuries. Initial procedures indicated signs of impairment in both drivers, and the results of a blood test are pending.
