The Flaming Lips Burst Their Bubbles: In the middle of the worst of the pandemic last year, psych-rockers the Flaming Lips figured out a way to put on a safe, in-person show. Everyone was in bubbles. Quite literally, the band and the crowd were in bubbles. Take a look at the video below.

That wouldn’t seem to be necessary when they perform at the Pacific Amphitheatre this week, but it does show the lengths they’ll go to in order to take their music to the people while keeping the people safe. For this one, they’ll be performing 2020’s American Head album in its entirety, which will be well worth seeing. Plus, Greer is on the bill.
