More than 28,000 people went to Designer Con at the Pasadena Convention Center over the Nov. 11-12 weekend to ooh and ahh at the 400-plus vendor tables. With aisles of collectible toys from artists both well known and newly discovered, artist signings and enamel pins (the weekend's best sellers were collectible pins), this once-yearly event drew in people from around the country.
DCon occupies more than 90,000 square feet, taking over not just the Pasadena Convention Center but also auxiliary buildings and even some street entertainment. We caught up with some of our favorite people (Coop, Bob Self of Baby Tattoo and Olivia De Berardinis) while discovering new brilliant companies such as Vinylsmack. We've prepared the very best photos of the wonderful experience that is DCon.
