The Pretty Things

S.F. Sorrow (Columbia)

The 3 O’Clock Loves Pretty Things: Michael Quercio of Paisley Underground heroes the 3 O’Clock told us about his love for a Pretty Thing.

Sf sorrow gold ltd edition

(Columbia)

Michael Quercio: My favorite LP.

It’s rock & roll at its zenith.

The songwriting is beyond compare.

The musicianship does the same.

Lead singer Phil May’s vocals are legendary enough but on this LP they really blow you away.

The first Rock Opera, it precedes The Who’s Tommy by a year and was a big influence on it.

The 3 O’Clock Loves Pretty Things: The 3 O’Clock’s Sixteen Tambourines 40th anniversary edition is out October 20.
