29-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Fairmount Street

TUCSON, AZ (April 30, 2024)Randall Jacob Miller died Monday night in a motorcycle collision on Wimot Road and Fairmount Street. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., on April 22nd.

According to reports, a 19-year-old woman driving a northbound white Toyota Rav4 struck Miller while he was riding a motorcycle, attempting to turn left onto East Fairmount Street.

Crews transported 29-year-old Miller to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the Toyota driver was also taken to the same hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Emergency personnel shut down the surrounding area during clearing operations.

Following preliminary duties, officers determined that impairment or speeding did not contribute to the collision. At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. More information will be provided once it becomes available.
