44-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Tow-Truck Accident near Cedar Ridge Drive
DUNCANVILLE, TX (February 20, 2024) – Oscar Merchan Contreras died Wednesday afternoon in a tow-truck crash on eastbound Interstate 20. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m., near Cedar Ridge Drive on February 7th.
According to reports, the operator of a FedEx truck collided with a flatbed tow-truck towing a vehicle. Additionally, a white sedan and a pickup truck were also involved in the incident.
Due to the severity of the injuries sustained, emergency medical personnel declared Contreras, a 44-year-old, deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, another individual with serious injuries was transported to a nearby hospital via CareFlite. As of now, an ongoing investigation is actively seeking additional information. Further details will be provided once they become available.
