Dual-Car Collision near East Briggsmore Avenue Resulted in Serious Injuries

MODESTO, CA (February 12, 2024) – Tuesday evening, a two-vehicle crash on Rose Avenue sent a male and a female driver to a hospital.

Police were alerted to the collision at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Rose and East Briggsmore Avenues.

According to reports, a Kia Optima and a Ford Fiesta collided under circumstances currently under investigation.

Emergency medical personnel conveyed the male Ford driver to a hospital, where he is currently in critical condition. The female Kia driver was also hospitalized for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

As of now, the identities of the individuals involved in the crash have not been disclosed to the public. Additionally, the police are investigating the female driver for suspected driving under the influence.
