Rollover Accident near McCarran Boulevard Resulted in One Fatality, Two Injuries

RENO, NV (January 23, 2024) – Late Sunday evening, police responded to a fatal rollover crash on Leadership Parkway.

On January 14th, approximately at 10:45 p.m., the Reno Police Department received a report of a fatal crash near McCarran Boulevard.

Upon inquiry, the authorities discovered that a vehicle, carrying five occupants, was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to multiple overturns.

Moreover, three individuals were ejected from the vehicle. Two of them sustained serious injuries, and emergency responders transported them to the hospital for medical care.

Regrettably, one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The authorities are withholding the identities of those involved pending notification of next of kin.

Moreover, the authorities said that speed was the contributing factor to the crash, and further investigation is still ongoing. Witnesses are urged to call the RPD at 775-334-2677 or the Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
