Traffic Accident on Rio Salado Parkway Left One Hurt

MESA, AZ (December 28, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, a traffic collision near Dobson Road and Rio Salado Parkway left an officer injured.

The incident happened on December 18 just before 4:00 p.m. involving a police vehicle and a Mini Cooper.

Furthermore, the troopers arrived at the scene and found the police vehicle overturned on its roof. Luckily, the officer was able to extricate himself out of the vehicle.

Paramedics treated the injured officer at the scene, and no other occupants suffered wounds. No additional information was added, and the crash is still under investigation.
