Saturday, Sept. 13
Stroll down a different memory lane at the Aero with its Carl Reiner Remembers series. Kicking things off at 7:30 p.m. is a double feature of Steve Martin movies directed by Reiner. In The Jerk, Martin stars as a lovable dunce who leaves his adoptive black family to make it on his own. Then, in The Man With Two Brains, Martin plays a brain surgeon on his honeymoon who falls for Anne, who’s “living” as a disembodied brain (think a low-tech version of Transcendence). Reiner will make an in-person appearance on the final day of the series, Sept. 20.

Tuesday, Sept. 16
Inspired by a true story, Pride follows a group of gay and lesbian activists who, circa 1984, rallied around the families of National Union of Mineworkers strikers, who were initially less than enthusiastic about their support. This pre-release screening will take place at the Museum of Tolerance at 7:30 p.m.
