Mother, Daughter Injured Two-Vehicle Collision near Church Avenue

FRESNO, CA (November 14, 2022) – Monday morning, a hit-and-run crash on Cedar Avenue injured Mirca Rivera and her daughter.

The incident happened on October 31st, at about 8:45 a.m., near Church Avenue.

According to reports, a dark-colored pickup truck approached the intersection and T-boned a blue car, occupied by Rivera and her daughter, driving down Cedar Avenue. The driver of the pickup truck then fled the scene without rendering aid to the victims.

First responders arrived at the site of the collision shortly after. Paramedics found the two victims with non-life-threatening injuries and transported them to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Authorities are now looking for the suspect driver and ask anyone who has witnessed the accident to contact the Fresno Police department at (559) 621-7000.

A driver must stop and take certain actions when involved in a motor vehicle accident that results in property damage or injury to another party. Call 911 and render aid to anyone who may be injured while waiting for the police to arrive and remain at the scene.
