31-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Single-Car Crash near Indian School Road
PHOENIX, AZ (May 9, 2024) – Maxwell Murray was killed in a rollover crash when his vehicle overturned on 7th Street.
Phoenix Police arrived at the scene shortly before midnight on April 1st, near the intersection of 7th Street and Indian School Road.
According to reports, Murray was speeding north on 7th Street when he lost control, veering into a curb.
Responders found Murray trapped inside the overturned vehicle upon arrival and extricated him, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Murray, aged 31, was later identified as the victim.
Authorities closed off 7th Street from Highland Avenue to Indian School Road to investigate the incident further. As of now, police have not disclosed additional details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
