21-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near College Boulevard

OCEANSIDE, CA (May 6, 2024) – One man died Sunday night a pedestrian collision on Oceanside Boulevard, near College Boulevard. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Police reported that the driver of an eastbound Toyota Corolla collided with three pedestrians crossing the street. The driver promptly stopped and called for emergency assistance.
 
Emergency responders transported the three victims, a 21-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, and a 28-year-old woman, to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, the 21-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Authorities have yet to disclose his identity or place of residence.
 
Following the incident, emergency crews closed off the area temporarily for cleanup and initial procedures. More information about the fatal accident on Oceanside Boulevard will be provided once available.
