Solo-Vehicle Crash Near Brookside Road Left 23-Year-Old Man Dead

STOCKTON, CA (January 10, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, a car crash on Pershing Avenue left one person dead and three other people hurt.

The deadly incident happened around 3:32 a.m. at Pershing Avenue and Brookside Road.

According to the police, the car crashed into a light pole for unknown reasons.

Tragically, the responding medical personnel declared a 23-year-old man from the vehicle dead at the scene. His name remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin.

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed three other people to a hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries. Additionally, the roadway was temporarily shut down.
