66-Year-Old Moped Rider Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Collision near South Pecos Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 25, 2024)Kenneth Frank was arrested late Friday night after a fatal moped accident on East Flamingo Road.

At approximately 11:55 p.m. on January 19th, police were called just west of South Pecos Road. According to officers, 68-year-old Frank was driving a Ford F-150 and failed to yield upon entering the intersection. Consequently, the Ford collided with the eastbound moped rider, causing him to be thrown onto the road.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered the 66-year-old moped rider on the road. Medics later pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Frank also left the scene without offering assistance or notifying authorities. Subsequently, the involved truck was located, and Frank was apprehended. He now faces charges of reckless driving resulting in death and hit-and-run.
