50-Year-Old Bremerton Woman Killed in Head-On Crash near Johnson Road

POULSBO, WA (February 1, 2022)Friday night, 50-year-old Jennifer Winchester was killed in a wrong-way collision on Highway 305.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m., on Highway 305 near Johnson Road.

As per reports, a 36-year-old female driver from Poulsbo was driving an SUV south on the highway when she crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and struck Winchester’s vehicle head-on.

Officers arrived on the site and immediately discovered the deceased woman. Troopers later identified the victim as 50-year-old Winchester, of Bremerton.

Meanwhile, medics transported the at-fault driver to St. Michael Medical Center. Officials eventually booked her into the Kitsap County Jail on a vehicular homicide charges.
