James Morton Worthington Arrested after Fiery DUI Crash near Reids Roost Road

WOODSIDE, CA (July 11, 2023) – Wednesday night, James Morton Worthington was arrested after a DUI crash on Skyline Boulevard that killed Josh McGuigan and Henry Keating. The incident happened on July 2nd, at around 5:40 p.m., on Skyline Boulevard. According to reports, Keating, McGuigan, and Worthington left Alice’s Restaurant after drinks and dinner. The three of them set off in a sedan driven by Worthington. He was driving about 90 mph when he lost control and collided with a tree near Reids Roost Road. The collision caused the sedan to burst into flames. Following the collision, several witnesses helped the motionless Worthington out of the car. First responders transported Worthington to Stanford Hospital for treatment of fractured ribs and other injuries. Meanwhile, officials pronounced 22-year-old Josh McGuigan, of Redwood City, and 23-year-old Henry Keating, of Menlo Park, dead at the scene. Later, police arrested 51-year-old James Morton Worthington on charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
