32-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident near 10 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 3, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, Gerardo Rodriguez Lopez was killed in a pedestrian crash on 110 Freeway. Police responded to the scene around 5:00 a.m., on the southbound lanes of Harbor Freeway near 10 Freeway. For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was standing on the transition road to the westbound 10 Freeway near downtown Los Angeles. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 32-year-old Lopez dead at the scene. In the end, authorities closed the transition road as crews investigated the scene. The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
