City of STEM Launch Party is a huge, FREE, all-ages STEM festival on Saturday, with 100 exhibitors!

City of STEM kicks off with a huge, FREE, all-ages science festival on Saturday, April 4, at the Columbia Memorial Space Center. Join in on activities from over 100 STEM exhibitors including a mainstage of STEM personalities and music; live demonstrations; food trucks; panel discussions; mobile museums; technology demonstrations; a 50-foot Space Shuttle jumper; the presentation of the City of STEM Icon Award to science media personality Alie Ward; special guests; and the “Meet-a-Scientist” Lounge where visitors can talk with real scientists and engineers from across LA.

Throughout the rest of the month, City of STEM highlights hundreds of STEM events happening throughout April for all ages, including a science-in-a-pub night, a “How Girls Museum” camp at the La Brea Tar Pits, a science day at Cal State Long Beach, a Girls in STEM summit at Caltech and much much more!
