28-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle vs Van Crash near 75th Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (May 9, 2024)Cristian Dorame was killed Thursday morning, in a motorcycle crash on eastbound Interstate 10.

The incident occurred near 75th Avenue on May 2nd.

According to reports, Dorame was riding a motorcycle, approaching traffic moving slowly. Upon braking, he lost control and collided with a landscaping van towing a trailer.
 
Medical responders transported 28-year-old Dorame, a resident of Buckeye, to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away due to his injuries.
 
Emergency teams temporarily closed off the surrounding area for cleanup and initial procedures.
 
Once the area was cleared, authorities say drugs or alcohol did not play a factor. An ongoing investigation aims to gather additional details.
