Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Dispatcher Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash near 150th Avenue

SAN LEANDRO, CA (May 9, 2024)Antoinette Finau was killed late Sunday night, in a DUI crash on East 14th Street. The incident occurred at approximately 11:14 p.m., near 150th Avenue.

Police report states that one driver collided with another vehicle at the intersection, leading to the victim’s car overturning.

Emergency responders transported the overturned vehicle’s driver to the hospital, where she passed away due to her injuries.

Law enforcement also detained the other driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Subsequently, authorities identified the deceased victim as Antoinette Finau, who served as an emergency dispatcher for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
