From bottomless mimosas to bourbon flights and BBQ to decadent brunches, here are seven ways to celebrate dad on Father’s Day.

Celebrate dad at The Social List in Long Beach with a whiskey flight special. Enjoy a $20 Bushmill flight or spend $80 and enjoy a flight and a bottle of Bushmills for the locker program. Taste and purchase a bottle for future nights spent with dad at the popular Long Beach tavern.  The promotion will run all week long prior to Father’s Day.

For many, Father’s Day evokes memories around the barbecue.  On Saturday, June 15, LA’s National Food & Beverage Foundation  presents Saucing The Grill, a new way of approaching the backyard BBQ with chef Pamela Wnuck, culinary arts supervisor at the OC Fair and owner of Seize the Vine. Watch Pamela prepare her Smoked Pork Ribs Two Ways, sauced with Soviia maple agave syrup and paired with Barramundi Shiraz from Australia. Give your wallet a break and treat dad to an afternoon of quality time (admission is free with RSVP.)

Bourbon Steak will feature a carnivorous feast influenced by Spain and Latin America.  Guests will enjoy a $75 three-course menu at The Americana at Brand’s modern steakhouse in Glendale. First courses include bay scallop and chorizo risotto with pickled corn, red pepper, Parmesan and parsley; or shrimp a la plancha with Spanish sofrito and shishito pepper.

Main dishes choices are salt crusted prime rib with jalapeño creamed corn, cilantro and au jus; Mediterranean branzino with sun gold tomato Panzanella and fennel; and a signature 8 oz.-filet mignon with tomato, smoked paprika, garlic and grilled scallion.

Sweets are showcased with a lemon olive oil cake with macerated Harry’s berries and whipped cream or a chocolate mousse with hazelnut and Nutella powder. Reservations recommended.

The Proud Bird at LAX will celebrate with a Father’s Day Buffet on Sunday from 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., featuring bottomless mimosas, bocce ball and an unlimited bazaar food pass that includes Bludso’s Bar & Que chicken & waffles, bratwurst, homemade chili and burgers. Dad’s first beer is on the house.

Is it a coincidence that Father’s Day and National Bourbon Day land on the same weekend this year?  Yardbird Southern Table & Bar inside the Beverly Center is a destination to celebrate both holidays.

With a selection of specialty dishes and bourbon flights available throughout the day from June 14-16, this will be the ultimate Southern-style Father’s Day Celebration spot to treat dad to St. Louis-style pork ribs, bourbon-glazed pork shank or lobster mac and cheese paired with flights of Pappy Van Winkle.

Wood & Water in Sherman Oaks is offering a special brunch from 11 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy bottomless mimosas, aperol spritzes and brunch favorites like duck chilaquiles with black beans, tortillas, fried egg, mozzarella, salsa and sour cream; and short rib hash with cabernet-braised short rib, fingerlings, onions, eggs, and salsa.
