Five Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near 106th Street East

ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (May 9, 2024) – Five victims were fatally injured Sunday night, in a two-car crash on eastbound Pearlblossom Highway 138.

Police officers responded to the scene around 8:12 p.m., near 106th Street East.

A Mitsubishi sedan and a blue Toyota Yaris collided under unknown circumstances, resulting in all occupants being trapped. Both drivers were pronounced dead by arriving emergency personnel.

Additionally, paramedics confirmed the loss of three other occupants due to severe injuries sustained. The identities of the deceased have not been disclosed to the public.

In response to the incident, the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the area near 106th Street as authorities investigated the scene.

Further details about the crash on Highway 138 involving two vehicles have not yet been provided. Antelope Valley Officials will release more information as it becomes available.
