Mellow Rackz Gets What She Wants: Broward County rapper Mellow Rackz, part of Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment stable, has released new single and video “What I Want.”

The bouncing tune sees Rackz listing exactly what she wants (and she ain’t taking no for an answer). “Get me what I want, b**ch,” she spits.

The video is a riot; set in a club, Rackz twerks, dances and, at one point, twerks, while Lil Wayne nods his approval and lip syncs the hook.

“The track highlights her lyrical ferocity, seductive flows, and knack for pure fire,” reads the press release. “She instantly dominates the bass-boosted production with confidence and charisma before igniting an unshakable chant, “I’m that bitch, buy me what I want!” The accompanying visual opens on rap legend and Young Money Entertainment Founder Lil Wayne lip-synching to the hook! He continues to turn up behind Mellow Rackz who commands the spotlight in a variety of high fashion looks with no shortage of style and spirit. The clip only scratches the surface of her starpower though.”

See for yourself.

Mellow Rackz press bio:

“All before her 20th birthday, Mellow Rackz survived and thrived in the face of unbelievable trials and tribulations. Rather than succumb or suffocate under the pressure, she only grew stronger. As such, the Broward County rapper honed a hard-hitting and hypnotic style of her own forged in the fire of experience and sharpened by raw talent, work ethic, and a candidly disarming sense of humor. After enduring a near fatal gunshot wound and three-week stint in the ICU, she tenaciously wrote and recorded until sharing a snippet of “Diamonds” on Instagram. It not only exploded to the tune of 1 million views, but she caught the attention of Gunna, Young Thug, and various labels. She earned a major co-sign from Kodak Black as her followers burgeoned to over half-a-million. In late 2021, her music made it into the hands of Mack Maine by way of XXXTENTACION’s mom Cleopatra Bernard. Mack and Wayne flipped out in awe and offered her a deal. up millions of streams and views and signing to Young Money Entertainment, she introduces herself with a bang on a series of 2022 singles and her forthcoming debut project led by the single ‘What I Want.'”
